As of April 2023, Icelandair operates a fleet of Boeing and De Havilland aircraft, with more Boeing aircraft on order. It was also announced that negotiations were underway to lease four A321LRs. These will form the replacement for its ageing Boeing 757 fleet. Most of the aircraft in Icelandair's fleet are named after Icelandic volcanoes.
